Fluid and Plasma Simulation Laboratory
Our Group is engaged in research in physics of fluid and plasmas, and applied mathematics using computing and simulations as primary research tools.
Overview
The FPS-Lab is led by Ravi Samtaney, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Dean of the Physical Science and Engineering Division at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
In the FPS-Lab we focus on research in physics of fluid and plasmas using computing and simulations as primary research tools. The group is currently engaged in simulations of magneto-hydrodyamics, plasma and hydrodynamic turbulence.
MSc and PhD student positions in Mechanical Engineering and are currently available please visit our Admissions Website for more information.
